Story: In 1938-39, Sir Nicholas Winton, a young London stock broker on holidays on the continent saved the lives of 669 children. Most of them were Jewish. He saved them from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia without any government support. He brought them across Hitler’s Germany to Britain and found a foster family for each of them. "The Power of Good", Emmy award winner, retells the extraordinary adventure of Britain’s Wallenberg. Winton, who was later knighted by HM Elizabeth II, turned 100 years old in may 2009. During uniquely moving moments in the film, he meets some of the men and women whose lives he saved, now the same age as their parents once were when they decided to send them to the UK. Winton's selfless act of kindness and compassion is an example for all in a world waking up to the unsustainability of selfishness and greed. .
